This Saturday is the third annual big Jericho March. This is a very special event for the Gadfly Report, as the first Jericho March, immediately proceeding the 2020 election, was the inspiration for the first Gadfly Report article. What was the landscape behind the first Jericho march and what has transpired over the last two years in between? What did the Jericho Marches of 2020 accomplish? Finally, what is the point of participating in a Jericho March today?
The 2020 Jericho Marches
To be clear, there were dozens of Jericho Marches in 2020. They all started the weekend immediately following the 2020 election. The main purposes of the first Jericho March were both to pray for election integrity and simply to unite as believers against the general shroud of darkness that loomed over 2020 in general. 2020 got a lot of people to pray together, often publicly, against evil globalists, political and social agitators, forced vaccinations, Communism, Covid Madness, the “culture” of death, and a whole host of other things. If we remember correctly, these are some of the many forces that we recognized were plaguing us, and threatening our very way of life, our faith, and perhaps even the lives of us and our children. We remember it that way, right?
Capping a year of chaos, violence, “red-pilling”, angst, and the erosion of American freedoms, the November election came and went. Most Americans went to bed believing that Trump was on point to barely eek out another presidential victory, when, with Trump leading in the state by over a million votes, Pennsylvania stopped counting. Simultaneously, Georgia stopped counting votes. That was because of a supposed water leak, or some cock and bull excuse like that. Arizona, a state littered with Trump paraphernalia and with Trump trains miles long for weeks leading into the election, was called early for Biden (Fox News), then uncalled, then called again the next morning.
Similar stories happened in multiple states, until sizable leads for Trump slowly trickled toward narrow wins for Biden over the next few days. By this point, millions of Americans were already growing more accustomed to assembling en masse to protest lockdowns and other government imposed human rights violations in the name of “health”. So when Catholic podcasters, in particular, suggested that Catholics in every state march around their respective state capitols to pray rosaries and sing hymns everyday until the election mess was sorted out, hundreds of thousands across America were ready for the call. Thus, the first Jericho March began on November 7th, 2020. The Marches continued everyday until chain-link fences were erected around the state capitol buildings of most swing states after January 6th.
The culmination of these marches came on December 12th, after an organizer in Washington contacted event planners in all the swing states to organize one major Jericho March that would take place in the nation’s capitol and in satellite locations across the country. In Arizona, a patriotic Catholic woman organized with so much enthusiasm and vigor, that around 500 marchers assembled that day at the Phoenix Capitol. When the march started, around 500 more from the adjacent “Stop the Steal” rally joined us for all seven laps. I led the rosary and hymns over a mega phone for hundreds of Catholics toward the front. Behind us were mostly Protestants (I assume) who recited various Biblical passages, prayed non-formulaic prayers, sang, and read scripture. It was a beautiful and epic event where 1,000 Christian patriots, led by the Catholics, united in goodwill and prayer for the good intentions of our nation.
Why I Marched in 2020
I met and forged tremendously strong bonds with dozens af amazing people by marching shoulder to shoulder with them, every Saturday and Sunday, for several weeks in 2020. It was the best comfort I could have asked for after the year of abuse we had taken. After being forced into isolation, denied the sacraments, and living in a crazy world that was falling apart, marching with like minded prayer warriors and sharing in a comradarie against lies, manipulation, and forced poison jabs was exactly the one thing I wanted to do. We were a happy group of families keeping each other spiritually accountable. It was pure joy!
There were some who marched around the capitol who did so in hopes that the stolen election would turn back for Donald Trump and give him the victory. I had lost all optimism for that result by the morning after the election. Not for a single moment did I believe that our marching, or anything, was going to overturn the election. Nevertheless, I marched alongside my comrades, exchanging a significant portion of my weekends in the process.
If you can remember, just for a moment, the strength of your convictions at that time, the circumstances you believed you were living in, and the raw passion you had over, what seemed like, your nation being taken from you, perhaps you can understand why I and other families marched so devotedly throughout that November and December. One reason that I remember was this: I was legitimately concerned that a Biden presidency could mean new lockdowns that would have prevented such free assembly of myself and other wonderful families from doing exactly what we were doing. With that fear in me, I didn’t think of complaining about how much my feet hurt, how monotonous the experience might otherwise feel, and how little of a chance Trump had. Rather I just relished the freedom to do something so good with others. In the context of what we all experienced at that time, it’s hard to take the freedom and gift to pray with dozens of other great families for granted.
What have we been up to in the meantime?
What all has happened since the end of the 2020 Jericho Marches? Biden indeed became president. Participants in the January 6th event in Washington were held prisoner, for months, without trial. The U.S. military added some trans generals. About half of America, many due to compulsion from employers, took a highly experimental “vaccination” of which the long term side effects are uncertain at best. The United States terribly botched the Afghanistan pull-out. The Supreme Court struck down the OSHA mandate that would have compelled millions of American workers to take said experimental poison jab. Russia waged war against Ukraine. The Supreme Court struck down Roe v. Wade. Finally, your election was stolen again.
So are we in a better state now that we were two years ago? Despite a couple of wins above, overall, no. We are now further down the road of the Great Reset, New World Order takeover today than we were two years ago. Period. Are we, overall, anymore zealous and passionate now than we were two years ago? That is unclear. And no, I don’t consider that participation in this Saturday’s Jericho March is the necessary litmus test to determine whether one is a true culture warrior. However, perhaps it is time that we reassessed where we are right now and redouble our efforts overall. And if you are free on Saturday, it’s a good place to start. Are you in better shape now than you were in 2020?
Has the last month sunk in yet? What stage of grief are you in since the most recently stolen election? Anger? Sadness? Denial? Acceptance? It sucks. I mean, it really really sucks to know that you can’t win politically anymore and that you will not have any real conservative representation in your state long term. Whatever is left of it will also soon be stolen from you in upcoming elections. The enemy has all the money, all the data to drive independent voters, and all the corrupt cronies already at the correct political posts. You live in New California now. Welcome to your state’s stage four cancer. The clock is simply ticking now.
So how the hell do you respond? Get further invested in politics? Well that’s a hard one to convince yourself to do at this time. Should you run for the hills now? Or is this the time to simply check out and just live your life one day at a time with your head in the sand?
I don’t have all the answers as to what one should do right now. Not even close. Many of us have our own unique choices to make for the best for ourselves and our families. That aside, I am quite convinced of the one thing none of should be doing at this time. It’s real simple: none of us should be regressing right now.
Whatever you do, do not fall into despair and sin at this time! Yes, the material circumstances around you are bleak right now. Somewhere in your own state, a smart city is being designed with plans for your children to be functioning zombie members of it someday. Is that better or worse than being a Christian father in a war torn third world country where Muslims are threatening to throw you off of a building? Is God there for such men? If He is, then He is certainly here, with all the grace you need, for you to get you through these times as a morally upstanding and more saintly man now than you were when you were living your blue pilled state before Covid.
Remember back to late 2020. You already knew all of that back then! You were red pilled and red blooded. You were over the cheap trinkets from China, the Disney Land, the Bud Light and NFL, and the whole political swamp culture developing in the background. You swore it all off when you were so immediately threatened by a poison jab made thanks to murdered babies. Don’t go back now! You have even more reason not to go back now than you did when you marched in 2020. Do not despair, do not stand paralyzed, and do not regress at this time.
With God’s grace, you will know exactly what you are supposed to do as stuff keeps hitting the fan. Embrace the challenge, more and more each day, to become the best and most saintly version of yourself, and you will be ready as God points you in the right direction. Persevere, hold up, and march forward.
Why is it Important to Keep Marching?
Throughout this article, I emphasized how important it is to correctly remember the events of 2020. When a community is attacked by psyops, it is important that the cultural leaders of that community remember the events accurately! Just as Soviet propagandists programmed the younger generations to believe an alternative history than what their parents knew, the Great Resetters of our time are all to eager for us and our children to misremember how the events of 2020 went down.
We knew quite well that we were being extremely abused and manipulated during 2020. We woke up every morning during lockdowns and felt psychologically tormented by the forced isolation. When we realized that Covid was over-blown by most major news networks, at the peril of millions of people world wide, all for the benefit of a class of people who control said media and political posts around the world (the Great Resetters), we felt violated!
In George Orwell’s 1984, he refers to erasing a culture’s memory of inconvenient events or images against a controlling political party as “memory holing”. Examples of this in the real world would be the way in which the Chinese Government has attempted to memory hole the Tiananmen Square incident or Winnie the Pooh. Until 2020 came, perhaps you granted that this is what CCP did with the Great Firewall of China, but you thought that this sort of thing was beneath the West.
The Great Resetters have done tremendous work already in memory holing the events of 2020. When Parler was removed from the Amazon servers, Google Play Store, and Apple Store, that was memory holing. Whenthe Atlantic publishes an article asking us to declare “Pandemic Amnesty” and forgive and forget all the overreactions during the pandemic and imposed measures that didn’t work, that’s memory holing. When Legacy media, by and large, ignores the broken ballot tabulators in 25% of polling places in Maricopa county, that’s memory holing. The long term plan of the Great Resetters is literally to write history books for the next generation that depict this era as the one whereby Domestic Extremists, White Nationalists, and “Science Deniers” threatened the security of our nation and democracy itself. The Resetters have a good shot at pulling it off.
If you are looking for something to do at this low point, that you can have some control over, then preserve the real memory of what actually happened in 2020. Bring your families to the Jericho March this Saturday and continue a tradition that we can pass on for the next 30 years or more. Commemorate what we marched for in 2020 and keep the memory alive. Someday, alongside the other culture warriors you will have marched for decades with, tell them exactly what happened. Tell them how they can restore culture and order in their time, long after the inevitable destruction to this nation that the Great Resetters are presently working out. Their lies will fall someday. When that day comes, be part of the group that will restore the truth, and help our hardened descendants set the record straight and rebuild our society once more. Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam.
If you are in the area and can make it out, I invite you to join us on December 17th at 9:00am for the third annual big Jericho March. If you can’t make it out to commemorate this event, then I hope I have helped to inspire you to make similar upcoming functions. The March for Life is a month away. Let’s publicly celebrate life the way we neglected to do so after June 24th. With the new year around the corner, let’s make a resolution to increase our participation in our public displays of our faith during 2023. And again, if we are lapsing in anyway, spiritually, at this time, let us pray that God smacks us into shape and puts us back on our horses now!
